Review on ⏰ Sangean RCR-3 AM/FM Atomic Digital/Analog Clock Radio - White | Efficiently Sized by Marcus Reed

Very disappointed with this product. As others have noted, this "updated" version lacks some features of the original design and is far less versatile than the original RCR-3. However, reliability is much more important. After only 18 months I had some problems with the device. The intensity of the display's backlight has its own characteristics and varies from the setting I like (nearly the darkest) to full brightness (no night light). I've tried using all the light controls to stabilize it but to no avail. My experience with Sangean's "customer service" if you want to call it that was the same as other reviewers. My repair cost is about $60 for an $80 radio, not worth it. I have my old Sony in the spare room. He's not as smart, not as high-tech, and not as sexy as Sangean. It survived TWO RCR-3s and was my front-end clock radio again. Another Sangean product? NEVER!
