I would recommend always buying HP ink cartridges for anyone who cares about print quality. I have tried other less expensive cartridges from other manufacturers or similar cartridges but they never last as long. I believe you get what you pay for and if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Use the HP Laser Jet 53A cartridge and you won't be disappointed or embarrassed by poor print quality. I've learned that you need to stick with HP branded cartridges and look for the best price. For me it has to be HP.
