The vacuum cleaner was excellent and worked well for a month. Then it didn't start at all. I tried charging it overnight but still nothing. I have always treated it with care and cleaned it after each use. Now I'm a few weeks past my return date, so I don't have $45 and a vacuum. I read some good and bad reviews before buying the vacuum and was optimistic as it is a well known brand but after that I won't be buying Bissell again. To put it mildly, disappointed. To update. contacted Bissell and they sent me a new one. crossed fingers
