Review on Sound Bar JBL Bar 2.0 All-in-One Black by Aashit Sharma ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

I made my buying decision based on how affordable and space-saving this model was (without a large subwoofer). My intention was to buy a speaker system for the television in order to amplify the sound a little bit, as the sound coming from the television's native speakers was not very loud and, to put it mildly, flat. My goal was to accomplish this. When I was at the store, I thought that the sound of this soundbar was great; but, when I brought it home and set it up on the table, I was a little underwhelmed. There was not even the slightest suggestion of the existence of low frequencies; they were completely absent. On the other hand, I was already aware of circumstances in which the speakers sounded poor in some locations and needed to be repositioned in a different way. I decided to experiment. The room had to be crawled around in order to find two locations where low frequencies began to cut through a little and make themselves known. The very first location is underneath the table, which is located on the ground. The second one can be found within a bookcase that is mounted on the wall. The sound coming from the soundbar was not extremely loud, but it was a significant improvement over the sound coming from the TV's built-in speakers. It became a lot more enjoyable to watch, the voices took on a more distinct tone, and the sound took on a more transparent hue. In general, I can recommend it as a solid budget alternative for you if you are seeking for a solution that is compact and are not particularly finicky about the sound quality. But, keep in mind that in order to obtain the finest sound, this sausage will need to move all over the room in search of the best sound.

Pros
  • Manufactured with materials of the highest quality, expertly assembled, and without a single defect. Not very lengthy, and it may be accommodated on a modest-sized table. Allows for mounting on the wall (fixings included). Receives sound by optical transmission, wireless Bluetooth technology, ARC (Audio Return Channel) technology, and HDMI (not available on all TVs). There includes a high-quality HDMI cable in the package. There is a control panel on the remote.
Cons
  • The soundbar's design, which is a monoblock, prevents it from producing clearly audible low frequencies. Additionally, the soundbar is extremely particular about its positioning in order to make the low frequencies sound somewhat comparable to one another. When put in a closed space on the sides, such as inside a hanging bookcase, the soundbar produced the most pleasing sound quality. It was at that time that the bass seemed to have the most impact, which seemed to be the result of sound waves being reflected off of the side surfaces of the shelf. As soon as I put the soundbar on the table, I noticed that the low frequencies were completely absent; it was as if they were not even there. Instead of an HDMI cable, it would be preferable to have an optical cable included in the package. But, to each their own.
