If you have a Magic Mouse, the first one is worth switching to the second one only because of the batteries. Otherwise, my first mouse (if I hadn't lost it) was fine. I'm taking off one star for these shortcomings. Has some pros: Very beautiful, holds a charge for a long time (I've been using it for 2 weeks and haven't charged it yet). Works well with macbook. Glides well on the table (but not suitable for all surfaces). NO BATTERIES NEEDED. Ideal for daily use (web browsing) Its cons: Charging from below - as a result, you can not charge and use at the same time
