See UPDATE below. I bought these glasses as a reading room. There have been others like this and they have seen a gradual loosening of the nuts that hold the components to the lenses. Eventually the plastic lenses broke when I was re-tightening and I had to replace my glasses. They typically lasted 3 to 5 months before needing to be replaced. A pair just purchased lasted 2 days before the nut fell off and the jar fell apart. I tried to assemble the glasses with the mother from the previous pair but the "key" provided was too big for the mother and the glasses fell apart again. Replacement glasses must be sent in. I received them on Friday and they are really well made glasses. To be on the safe side, I tightened all the nuts that hold the nozzles. I look forward to using them as my daily readers. It was really great customer service. I will buy from them again with confidence.
