I ordered a 6 tier shelf in natural color. Wood is attractive. Easy to assemble. Some suggest you need a rubber mallet. While this is ideal if you already have one, if you don't, just place a thick towel on the PC and tap it with a hammer - works great. The bottom end flexed a bit, but we found that it just needed to be pushed harder (that was the first step and we didn't want to push it too hard to begin with). After we tapped it again it fit well and subsequent layers worked just as well. After adding the wine bottles, we were happy with their shelf life. The height to the top of the wine bottles on the top shelf is about 39 inches. I don't think I would put it higher than 6 tiers without mounting it to the wall. We all had different sized bottles including champagne and had no problem with them fitting nicely on the shelves. We'll be putting a second rack alongside this one, so yes - I'd recommend it.
