I love the look of this wine rack. It was easy to assemble and feels sturdy. Unfortunately, the cutouts on the back aren't wide enough for most of the bottles in my collection. In the best case, five bottles fit in a row. Another half inch for the bottle cut will make a world of difference.

I am very impressed with this wine rack! When I first opened the package and looked at the instructions, I thought I might have to drill and screw each cross to the brace! NOT SO! They hug so tight! I had to get a rubber mallet and a protection board to smack them together! Very durable! I would stand on this wine rack without hesitation! Looks great too! Very good product!

The pre-punched cutouts are slightly smaller than they should be and the tight fit makes it unclear how deep each post is. It's hard to get it right, and the taller it gets, the harder it becomes to ensure the resulting structure is square and solid. If you turn one of the racks upside down (it's EASY!), you'll have to break it apart and start over.

I actually bought this for my colleague when he bought a new house and had just finished renovating the kitchen. His wife wanted everything in the kitchen and the rest of the house painted white to make it look like a turn-of-the-century sanatorium. I'm a carpenter and it broke my heart so I bought them this and to my surprise she liked it the way it was and didn't want to take it off! The downside is that they bought another one and are now "picking wine" so he's often late for work.

This wine rack (centre in picture) is a one-piece piece, but I recommend mounting it to the wall if you have more than 3 or 4 shelves . I actually added two more tiers for a total of eight to match the other two wine racks and attached them to the other shelves that are wall mounted in my basement. Assembling was relatively easy but you will need a hammer or a piece of wood to hit the pieces as they fit very snugly together, the nut is assembled, the rack is solid and holds plenty of wine.

I am very satisfied with this product. It's easy to assemble. It comes together like a craft toy, but the notches are cut to very tight tolerances. This is good because it means the finished product is very durable. I ordered two units. Each unit should have 6 cross braces for the neck and 6 for the bottom. I bought two and put them together. If you fold them, be sure to attach them to the wall. I put these racks in my storm shelter. I lit them with an LED I got from Revain. The stand comes with a Fire TV, battery-powered fan, crib, wine glass holder, and air dryer, all purchased from Revain. Hmm, I think it's a Revain equipped Storm Shelter! I wanted an extra wine rack in my basement and it was the right size. The product arrived disassembled from bamboo. It's not difficult to understand, but absolutely no instructions. You have to understand that you need a good rubber mallet just to pound the serrated pieces together and that's the only real problem - the pieces aren't milled perfectly and it takes a bit of pulling and tapping to bring them together, especially around the sides too keep nice and square. I ordered a 6 tier shelf in natural color. Wood is attractive. Easy to assemble. Some suggest you need a rubber mallet. While this is ideal if you already have one, if you don't, just place a thick towel on the PC and tap it with a hammer - works great. The bottom end flexed a bit, but we found that it just needed to be pushed harder (that was the first step and we didn't want to push it too hard to begin with).
