This case is almost perfect at a very reasonable price. It comfortably adjusts to 4 viewing positions and one typing position. I was amazed that he was very stable in each of these positions. The auto sleep/wake function works perfectly. The Mini 3 fits easily into a protective case and looks pretty solid. It's narrow and can be difficult to get out of. The clip is a feature that appears to offer additional protection. Luckily I didn't have to test how it behaves in the event of a fall, but it seems to be more reliable than other cases that aren't specifically advertised for fall protection. I doubt a rubberized shell would be more reliable than a hard shell. The inside is lined with fabric to protect the screen from scratches. It looks stylish and the workmanship is high quality. The red poppy color is bright and beautiful. Not for someone with a low color tolerance (my husband) but I like it. All controls are accessible and the camera hole is correctly positioned. The speakers are covered, but there are ridges that appear to be designed to carry sound forward. I think the coating can limit the sound a bit. It doesn't make the Mini too heavy and feels good in the hand. Revision: A corner of this cover has broken off. He wasn't dropped or hit. I found a piece of hard plastic on the counter next to my iPad. I cannot recommend this product more and I regret my "almost perfect" rating.
