Hi all. In the village, the parents have a pit where drains from washing dishes and hands drain, drains do not drain there, but even despite this, the water is quite dirty and smelly. The pit is large enough and the water has time to go into the ground, but since the drought decided that the water should not disappear, even this one. At first I wanted to buy a serious cast-iron pump with a knife, but then I read reviews on pumps without a knife and realized that the simplest one is enough for my drains. I bought this Gilex 115/5, it was available in my city in All tools and at the same time had a lot of positive reviews on marketplaces. I was afraid that there would not be enough power to push water through a long hose of 25 meters from the pit to the garden, but I was pleasantly surprised by the pump pumping perfectly. In addition, I used a narrower 3/4 inch hose, and the pump has an outlet for at least 1 inch hose. Before buying a pump, I was puzzled by this question, because I didn’t want to buy another 1-inch hose coil, which sometimes costs more than a pump. And with adapters, the situation is even more sad in my situation, I could not find it anywhere. As a result, I got out of the situation in this way: I bought a hose connector herringbone 19-25 and found a 1 inch hose cut literally 10 cm long (you can look for such hoses for a cut in hardware stores), and bought 3 clamps, 2 for a 1 inch hose and one for 3/4. Hooked a 1 '' hose section to the pump outlet, and inserted a herringbone connector into the other end and then connected the existing 3/4 '' hose. I also cut out a kind of filter from a steel mesh at the pump inlet in front of the impeller, just in case. As a result, before pumping out, the depth of the drains was about 1.5 meters, and at the end about 20 cm remained, I don’t know the volume of the pit. Pumped out about 4-5 hours without stopping. Then I washed it and put it until better times until the pit was filled. All in all a great pump for the money!
