I was a bit disappointed that these hangers are about half the thickness of the ones I bought at retail. Luckily I'm not tall so most of my clothes aren't heavy. In fact, I live in Florida, so almost all of my clothes are lightweight! I bought 15" hangers which work well for my shoulder width clothing - the ends of the hangers don't extend past the shoulder seam and don't rip the fabric! Since they are not that wide and because my clothes are light, these will do. But the wider the hanger and the heavier the clothes, the more likely it is that the hanger will break. I wouldn't use them for winter coats or heavy suits. Please note that I originally bought them from another seller and not only did they send me the wrong size, they just tossed the hangers in the box. When this batch arrived the hangers came in sets of 10, packed in separate boxes and tied neatly together.
