This bracket is very strong. It was fairly easy to install, but the buttons to separate the pieces that attached to the headrest sometimes got stuck and required some fumbling to get them loose. Once fixed, this mount isn't going anywhere. My iPad felt very secure in the tablet mounting area and was a good height for me when I was in the back seat; However, the child needs to look up, which may not be so important. Likewise, someone much taller than me might need to look down. As a person sitting in the front seat, the installation is a little awkward: I'm 5ft 4in and the headrest needs to be adjusted higher than normal, which loses the support angle I normally have. All in all a very well made product.
