Review on 🎨 Datacolor ColorReader – Instantly Identify Paint Color: Optimal Tool for DIY, Painters, Designers, and Facility Managers by Kendrick Barron

I bought this updated version and it shows a few different colors, although I'm trying the exact same color chart snippet without even removing the device from the color chart I'm going to the studio tomorrow, to see how far this is from the lab test results. The app sucks, there is no way to set the default color format to show me, always in the lab. When I click on color info it doesn't show me CMYK which I should. I have to click on the color swatch and then on the color information to get CMYK and RGB. It would be nice if the default mode was set to show me as I use it for a lot of things and work on set with RGB, print with CMYK and design with HSL - it doesn't show me that HSLI understands, what it was all over $99 but the app feels like a $29 item with no settings to customize etc. It's more like a housewife buying paint to match some kind of clothes crap toys
