Review on Shure AONIC 50 Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones (White) by Kevin Carey

Very happy with the Shure Aonic 50. I have the best models from JBL, Bose, B&W, B&O and Master & Dynamic so I have a little comparison. Overall sound quality, sound detail and sound balance excellent 5 out of 5 stars. Where they really shine is in the soundstage and depth of the music. You can literally sense listening direction and distance as if you were sitting on a stage or in a studio as the musical performance surrounds you in 3D. Truly emersed and the BEST I've ever experienced. Also in terms of noise cancellation, I award 5 out of 5 stars. I bought a Bose 700 at the same time and have been driving back and forth every day for a month now. The difference isn't in how much they block, but in the frequencies. The Bose seems to cut the highs and mids better, while the Shure cut the mids and lows better. I have found that both cancel out 99% of all external noise when I have music, even at very low volume. The fit and comfort are the BEST I have ever experienced. I've worn them for 8 to 10 hours on many occasions with no discomfort. I had no hardware, software or pairing issues. The controls are simple and intuitive, better than those pesky touch controls on the Bose 700. If you want to treat yourself to headphones that offer a beautiful fit and finish, a unique design with premium materials, and sound quality that's sure to catch every song you play play, make a NEW DISCOVERY DETAILS & EMERSION, look no further. I don't know of any other Bluetooth noise canceling on-ear headphones on the market that come close in any way. I'm in love, my wife and my cat are jealous.
