Review on Aller Ease Cotton Allergy Pillow Standard by Debbie Calloway

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Misleading description of a great product.

Of course the filling isn't cotton and that's a scam so three stars instead of five. I was hoping to buy 100% cotton or at least 100% organic cotton for all of my bedding. But when I got the pillow, the first thing that struck me was how firm and full it was. I have bought cheap pillows many times in my life and considering the price I was afraid I would need two of these pillows to rest comfortably. After seeing firsthand how durable it was and how much padding was actually put into it, I was incredibly happy with the purchase. Shortly after discovering how much filling was in the pillow, I realized it wasn't 100% cotton. Yes the cover felt like 100% cotton but the filling was too perfect as if it was filled with synthetic/plastic fibres, which it most likely is. Is this a problem for me? no I bought a buckwheat pillow to be the main attraction and luckily it was more than I was hoping for. Although I have needed multiple pillows in the past, this was only because the pillows I had were always junk. They never had enough fluff and tended to get clumpy, so my only solution was to fold the pillows in half so my head lay flat. This pillow is nothing like the pillows I've had before. In fact, sometimes I wake up from a wonderful dream with this pillow gently holding my head. This just proves that if all you want is a firm pillow, it's the way to go. If the product description wasn't misleading I would give 5 stars. But if you want crazy, outlandish, all-organic fiber because you have some crazy, unusual condition, you probably shouldn't.
