Review on Mouth Whitening Comfortable Custom Moldable by Alexandra Baker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I was nervous but a good product.

I bought this to use with a prescribed teeth whitener but didn't want to pay to have a professional mouth guard made. I've had several over-the-counter trays that you can buy anywhere, but they're uncomfortable and I wanted something to sleep in. They are beautifully and professionally packaged with nice and simple instructions. There are 2 kits referred to as Standard or Extra Soft. The instructions are the same for both. I just put them in my mouth first to see which felt better. The first step involves insertion into the mouth and sucking - this is for the training that is absolutely necessary to get the right fit when you get down to business. So do it! Then boil water. Submerge them according to the instructions until they collapse, take them out immediately after 5-10 seconds. Don't leave them on for too long. The first time I did it I left it on for too long and it melted/creased on the back of my teeth before it could even form. Although I tried again, I couldn't reshape it after this error. So I made another one. So it's nice to have more to repeat. I was very nervous putting something in my mouth that just came out of boiling hot water so I was shy. This wasn't a problem at all and would have saved me a rework once or twice so don't worry about it. It won't burn you. That's where the practice of sucking comes in lol! I suggest using the forms you find most uncomfortable at first so you don't get confused about what's likely to happen. Once I got the hang of it (had to repeat it twice) they are comfortable and stay on my teeth and in my mouth with no effort. For the price it couldn't be better. And if (like me) you don't melt them too much before they even reach your mouth, you can repeat the process until you have the right shape. I recommend.
