I had never used a flat network cable before and was a bit skeptical. Since I had a Fluke DX1800 network tester, I bought a 5-foot, multi-color, six-pack to test. All cables passed Category 6A testing with flying colors (this Fluke company does not support Category 7 testing). The convenience of flexible flat cables for patch cords cannot be overstated. Much easier to deal with cables in tight spaces. I just wish they had more colors to help with tracking. Although I only use 1Gb wired connections (10Gb goes over fiber), I plan to only use those cables for switching.
