This review would have earned 5 stars if it weren't for an obvious design flaw: the use of cheap black velcro to attach the shelves. For the most part, you don't need velcro to hold them, especially if you spread your items evenly. But you would think Fleximounts would provide a simple plastic/metal clip to match the color of my shelves (white). Instead, I would use clear/white zip ties. Considerations that may be useful to you (see photos): - They are very strong. I have a feeling their advertised weight is lower than actual capacity. They're easy to install, just take time if you're making a long line like me. They are suitable for shelves of different widths, and shelves can be placed almost anywhere. by brackets. In my photo you can see what I had to adjust. - A laser level would be easier than my bubble level. The paper template provided with the kit is helpful, but always triple check your measurements/holes. - I installed it in studs, studs are a must. - If you attach the TOP of the shelf and the BOTTOM of the bracket to the wall is 6 7/8". This is actually quite a lot of space if you have things below, especially with brackets on each stud.
