For certain games I needed a Dpad for my normal switch. I was able to easily open my joycons and switch shells. The thing is, I don't have the luxury of buying and replacing my joycons if I screw them up, and I don't risk voiding my warranty. I don't trust myself enough to do that. I'm glad Skull & Co offers these Dpad alternatives and the installation was very easy. Just in case, I checked out the installation guide on YouTube. You must press the adhesive firmly into the corners before removing the protective film. I also love the extra colorful buttons that add a look to my super famicom. I used a cross dpad as I didn't need to use a round one, which I think works best for fighter games. The rotation was more than enough for how hard I pressed the d-pad and got responsive clicks. I have small fingers and can see someone accidentally pressing the center of the d-pad, which can cause the buttons to be pressed incorrectly. Overall this dpad set works great for me and I bought another set for another switch. I want you to choose a dpad style that could save me money if I get both crosses in one set instead.
