When I received the product, there were no instructions for use. Just a short badly printed picture and the product in a plastic bag. There are many different colors that have the same length and direction. It's a complete guessing game about how to separate your hair and how much hair to put in it. I just experimented and it worked. If you have a lot of hair like me, you may not have enough curlers. I've only tried a wavy, no spiral hairstyle. I liked how it looked in the morning. Very uncomfortable to sleep so I took them out in the middle of the night!
