For young children as stated
This is advertised for children and I believe it will work for young children especially those young enough to be excited about the toilet. But if you have special circumstances, such as an older child, older child, or adult with special needs, they can be strong enough to get it to the point where the mechanism slips (which happened in my case). But I suspect that a typical very young child would either be completely stopped or discouraged enough to make it work. Just an overview for people with special circumstances who are looking for a possible solution.
