I ordered at least three different types of Naartjie socks. All in all these socks are made from a very comfortable cotton blend - perfect thickness (not too thin and not too thick) and feel. However, there is a lot of thread on the inside of the socks, be careful if your child is sensitive to it. Some designs are worse than others in this regard (heart designs are the worst). The striped ones aren't that bad in design elements, they don't create too much extra inner thread, but at the bottom of the socks where the brand name is sewn in, all the patterns seem to have a wide range of threads and those fuzzy bumps. Too bad because the name serves no purpose other than branding (it's not protection, for example, at least not in the sizes 3-5 and up that I ordered). I ended up spending about 5 minutes with each sock, carefully trimming the threads and punching a few holes in some of the socks (which my daughter wouldn't be wearing either).
