I found a lone AirPod during a walk in the park and decided to pick up this charger and see if it worked. I put the AirPod in and left it for a moment to charge. Then I entered bluetooth settings on my phone and pushed the button on the charger. It connected, so I opened the lid and put the AirPod in my ear (rest assured: I thoroughly cleaned it first) and it worked like a charm. If I leave this charger on my wireless charging pad for longer than 15 minutes, it does get pretty warm, so be careful of that.
