Great SBK! Low specs?!

Use as a low power WiFi SDN router for home (lab). Plugged into a Wave 1 WiFi5 radio connected via the M.2 M-Key "NVMe" slot in the image above, it works great, transferring packets with a lot less load than my old Intel Silvermont based router. My jaw hit the floor as I saw how much power this thing puts out for the force it's pulling - it's terribly fast. There is a "power limit" in the BIOS that you can increase from 10W to 15W, after which the SoC can support all 4 cores. Turbo mode (2.5 GHz) always. So unless you need it for video processing, really buy a 2.5GHz quad-core x86 processor.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad
