I didn't actually buy this shoe for golf but for working in the garden especially mowing grass. My yard has a gentle incline and the shoes I used were slippery on the bottom and I kept slipping and falling. I wanted something "sticky" to hold me steady. You did exactly what I wanted. There are small squares on the outsole that provide the traction I need but aren't too noticeable. On the lawn I feel like I'm walking on a normal surface. I notice spikes on the sidewalk, so I limit my time on sidewalks or other flat surfaces. But like I said, I bought them to wear on the lawn. I think they would be good for golf. Shoes are high quality and very bright. The set included 2 laces of different colors and the shoes were packed in a box. They arrived quickly.
