Review on SMFR Smartwatch Waterproof Bluetooth Bracelet Wearable Technology by Flavio Scarola

We bought this watch as a Christmas present for our daughter and when she opened it on Christmas morning we were disappointed to find the manual and all the instructions were there in Chinese. We decided to charge the watch and see if we could figure out how to use it without a guide. In order to charge the watch, the backplate has to be mounted, which requires four tiny screws (not a good idea for a kid's watch in my opinion) that my thumbs have a really hard time with. Finally, we installed the back cover and charged the watch to find that the display on the watch was also in Chinese. We contacted the seller and he provided a translation of the manual. We downloaded the app but couldn't figure out how to get the clock working or even change the time. Eventually we decided to go to our cell phone provider to purchase the required (not included) GSM SIM card and see if they could help us get the watch working. While waiting for help, we looked at the GPS phone watches for kids they had available and found one for almost the same price but with much better functionality and app support. Instead we bought it and decided to return the one that came with SMFR. However, since we ordered the watch in advance and had to wait until Christmas to find out it wasn't what we thought it was, they were unwilling to process our return and only offered a $5 refund. I strongly recommend not purchasing this item and suggest finding something of higher quality that is easily activated by your carrier.
