Can be best enhanced with speaker mounts
As previously mentioned; They come from the factory with peeling paint. I installed one in the closet and knew the rust on the base could potentially go to the speaker. To prevent this I wrapped the rim in electrical tape and trimmed off the excess so the metals don't touch. It's not the best solution, but it will work for now. This particular speaker sits high and you can't see it anyway. I just have to hide the cable. This is the next project.
