Mediocre workmanship, not worth the price

I bought this machine to keep laundry supplies in a small space next to the washer dryer. Technically, it gets the job done, although it's too short to fit pretty much every bottle on the lower shelves. It's quite flimsy though, so I'll watch to see if the shelves collapse due to heavier bottles. The biggest problem is its design. People are right that it's easy to put together; However, the pieces don't fit together well and don't have a clear locking mechanism. You just tape them together and promise yourself you won't take them with things on the shelves because they'll almost certainly fall apart. The hooks, which fit into the grooves on the sides (you can't choose where you want to hook the hooks), are also poorly made: they're clearly not all the same size (although the hooks and grooves are supposedly the same), because it There were several grooves where I had to try several different hooks to find one that wedged, and for the last hook I had to somehow pry up the edges of the shelf groove to get the hook all the way in. They have a metal trolley from the Container Store that is maybe 50% larger (and still fits into small spaces), is very strong, well made, and costs $3 more than this trolley. I do not recommend this sad plastic version.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine
