It was easy to assemble and mount my condenser microphone on the stand. Just a couple of minutes. The quality seems to be ok. I don't have a soundproof room and I was hoping this would reduce some of the background noise my insanely sensitive condenser mic seems to pick up, but it doesn't. I think for those doing simple voiceovers or podcasts this would work well with a dynamic mic, but for my specific mic and for musical vocals I would need to add some acoustic panels to my room to try and drown out my recordings and keep going isolate.
