I had no problems with the size of the shirt. It is what I expected from my order. It's also a "big" shirt (I mention that because I've seen in other reviews that it's too small for its size and not big at all). The shirt is a bit thin for my taste. You must wear a tank top if you intend to wear it anywhere other than the beach. I can handle thin shirts depending on how they come out of the wash. I have thin shirts that, after washing, wrinkle at the collar and along the placket and fold in strange directions. which of course you need to iron, but that's more than other shirts. and these are the shirts that I get rid of. I have yet to do a wash test to see how wrinkled it gets, so I won't give it up just yet, although the thin material worries me. What I really dislike about this shirt is the way the back of the shirt "rolls" and folds just behind the back of the collar. Pulling the back of the shirt down will fix this problem. but now the back of the collar is no longer close to the back of the head. If you pull the shirt forward so it sits comfortably on your shoulders, the fabric will gather at the back near the collar.
