Review on πŸ‘“ Gargoyles Performance Eyewear: Optimal Safety Glasses for Superior Protection by Ashutosh Takumatla

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not the same. for personal protective equipment

After I bought another brand of sunglasses from Revain ($20), I see them in the Inspired by Your Purchases section a few days later. I had no idea they were still in production. this! I had several pairs of these in full and 85 sizes in the 80's and loved them. their production costs more than the production of glasses. The frames are cheap, flimsy junk, and between the non-springy loops and the sturdy plastic earcups, they're VERY uncomfortable to wear. The biggest difference between the originals and these Chinese trash heaps are the lenses. qualitative. They are not polarized and have terrible glare. The glare is so bad that after about 30 minutes of driving it I got a headache. They belong at the gas station counter for five euros as "disposable". The Gargoyle Corporation should be making huge profits out of it for the price they are charging. Obviously they have yet to figure out that their ONLY demographic is people who have owned the originals and will immediately notice a huge difference in quality.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
