Despite the nostalgia, these are solid glasses with great lenses.

Yes, I kind of wanted them because the Terminator made me obsessed with them in high school, but I also like the functionality. The optics are great - I have Ray Ban, Oakley, Serengeti etc and these lenses are just as sharp. These are now my new cycling glasses. Note (for those who have never had Gargoyles): The point where the finials meet the lens on either side is polished, giving you 2 points in your peripheral vision. It doesn't bother me, but one should be aware of it if it becomes…

I really, really wanted to like her.

I bought these glasses in 2013. I really liked her. They fit well, were comfortable, offered good protection and above all they looked good. Unfortunately they didn't last. I had them for a little less than a year and they fell apart in the middle. I threw them away and told myself never again. Well, I tried them again in 2016 hoping that their quality has improved. They have not. Of course, the case was much nicer than the one I had in 2013, and the 2016 version had some nice, tasteful accents

Not the same. for personal protective equipment

After I bought another brand of sunglasses from Revain ($20), I see them in the Inspired by Your Purchases section a few days later. I had no idea they were still in production. this! I had several pairs of these in full and 85 sizes in the 80's and loved them. their production costs more than the production of glasses.
