Sensor broken on arrival

I bought this to replace the famous Bosch brand 17025 that is used with the Holley Sniper EFI system. The car had a notoriously good set-up which should have an idle AFR of around 13.5:1. On the first run, this sensor gave erratic readings, going from very lean (35.6) to very rich quickly, almost like a narrow-band sensor. I confirmed the erroneous readings by connecting my laptop to the ECU (see fig.). Bought hoping to save some money on the sensor but obviously it was a mistake.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are new competitors
