I paid more for shipping than for a frying pan. The description says it's for a 1lb loaf of bread, but it's a tiny mini skillet. My 1 pound loaves of bread are about four times the size of this pan. The nonstick coating was good. I didn't notice the dough leaking through the holes, but it could happen if the bread dough was wet enough. When removed from the pan, the bread came out fairly easily. Some of the bread got stuck where the holes were, but shaking helped pull the bread out. I didn't notice that the bread turned out crispier than usual. The holes are meant to make the bread crunchier. My 60-70 year old tinny battered loaf pans (regular size 1lb) work just as well for toasting a loaf and are easy to clean. I want it to be the regular size of a 1lb loaf. I wouldn't buy it if the description said it was a mini bread pan and I definitely wouldn't have to pay for postage from the UK. American Revain didn't have any. However, this is a high quality loaf pan, but I would never make 1/4 pound loaves. Sweet bread and cakes flowed through the holes. I would like a normal size.
