This is my second PS4 review. The first one I did was 2.5 years ago. In general, fundamentally, everything remained the same (surprising, right? :) But Sony still has some improvements: 1. Hardware: Slim now heats up less, makes less noise and consumes less electricity. Actually, because of the noise, I changed the fatku to a slim one. I don't need Glorius 4k gaming, but there is a request for silence. The new Wi-Fi module is also very handy, because. I regularly use remoteplay. On the fatte, it was not very "stable", and pulling the wire from the router through the entire apartment is not an option. 2. Programmatic: Time has shown that indie exclusives move more from competitor to curling iron (Inside, Lifeless Planet, Elite Dangerous, Superhot, The Long Dark, Deadlight, Shadow Complex) than in the opposite direction (only Firewatch comes to mind). The situation with the quantity and quality of AAA exclusives from Sony is again better in this generation than that of a competitor. You can't go far on Forze and Heilo alone, and the rest of the competitor's copies, in my opinion, are not competitive. The genre variability of Sony's exclusives is also better. Separately, I note the Remote Play service. For me it was a revelation. For PVE and slow games I use it all the time. For competitive PVP, it certainly is not suitable. But again, I have an Apple ecosystem at home and remotplay is friends with it, unlike a competitor, which is only available for a certain version of Windows.
