This product is a "you get what you pay for". The first thing that struck me is how flimsy this product is. Velcro straps are thin and too short. I installed them on the rear frame of my 2004 Jeep Wrangler for the rear passengers. I had to tug with pliers to tighten the straps and provide more support because they are short. I have a Smitty on the front of the jeep and they overlap where I'm not kidding. one and a half inch crochet and loop joint. There are three Velcro straps and the two on the ends where the handle attaches come off first when I'm an adult using them. I have kids that ride in the back so maybe I just need to adjust and they are only there to hold on to if they want to but I wouldn't buy them and use them for heavy use like the front. Don't save a dollar here. These items are used to adjust weight and they don't even stand up to my scrutiny by being pulled down. I'm not happy with it at all and will probably buy Smitty's again.
