Something about the design of this backpack feels a lot better on my back than previous backpacks I've had. I'm a college student who walks around with lots of books most of the time and this backpack has been a huge improvement. Aesthetically, I like that it doesn't have external pockets. The backpack doesn't look childish and allows me to wear it in a wider range of situations compared to some other backpacks that I would rather leave at home for serious social or academic events. The appearance is elegant, simple and strong compared to other designs. Better make sure you are ready to zip your bag when you close it though, as it will take you a minute to get back in due to the straps that close it. The belts are made of high-quality, well-stitched leather with brass buckles that fasten at the waist like a belt. They will of course last a long time, but they also take a second to zip and unzip. The shoulder straps are also very comfortable and do not tire the shoulders. However, the adjustment tends to slide a little quicker than I'd like when wearing a backpack.
