I haven't even had the chance to use this yet but based on my experience with carriers I can already tell you that the biggest issue with this particular product is that means you need a bond coat and you need to put some kind of support under the bridge plate so it can hook onto it. If you don't put anything on the bridge plate, this thing compresses the C clamp on the guitar and prevents you from biting the bridge itself. Keep that in mind, otherwise it will do its job just fine and it's very easy to move in and out of the sound hole without hitting the wood, which comes in handy for finer detail. It could be a bit more open to make things easier.
