Review on Pussan Montessori Fishing Toddler Busy Board, Montessori Toys For Toddlers, Sensory Toy For Toddlers Birthday Gifts Stocking Stuffers For Boys And Girls by Lucy Baker

A great toy to help encourage young imaginations!

- This is a wonderful toy for all ages. Switches and dials light up bright lights, and a yellow button that makes a noise is perfect for an active imagination.- The two AAA batteries are safely screwed under a plate, making it impossible for small hands to get to the batteries. A small Phillips screwdriver is all it takes for an adult to replace the batteries.- The screws and tools make this toy something to give to an older child. I had hoped the screws just twisted around, but unfortunately, they can be removed. As such, we didn’t give those bits to my 2-1/2-year-old nephew, but he can still play with the buttons and dials. Maybe when he is older, we can reintroduce the small screws and tools.- My nephew was excited with the bright, colorful lights and beeping sounds. It was straightforward for him to understand and use.- The wood was smooth and varnished. It feels comfortable and safe to use.- The only thing I wish this had was a hidden master switch to turn off the device when no longer being played with. It is easy to accidentally press the button and make a beeping sound. The above review is for Pussan’s wooden busy board.

Pros
  • Encourages Independence: As toddlers work their way through the various activities on the busy board, they are also empowered to become more independent and self-sufficient in their daily lives – a crucial skill for children to develop as they grow
Cons
  • May require additional purchases to fully utilize the toy
