Review on 🎵 Homedics SS-MN101BL Sound Spa Mini: Your Portable Blues-Banishing Sound Machine by Negil Dunnigan

I bought this mini sound machine for myself because I had trouble falling asleep due to my husband's snoring! I didn't understand from the product description that this is a sound machine for babies! I didn't pay attention to the dimensions either, so I was surprised at how tiny it really is (it fits snugly in my hand). It uses 3 AAA batteries, which is also a good idea to know before you buy. Although I was surprised by the size, I was not disappointed. The mini size is perfect for a bedside table and not too flashy. Actually it looks very nice. The car has 4 sounds: rain, ocean, heartbeat and white noise. The sound of rain is what I find most comfortable to sleep on. There are a lot of seagulls in the sound of the ocean and I'm not sure it will be peaceful. White noise isn't the most soothing white noise I've heard on a sound machine. The heartbeat is fine, it's just not my preference. The volume control works by turning the dial on the top of the device and I think the volume levels get pretty high. It's true that it does get a bit stiff at higher volumes, as other reviewers have said. But I find it great at low to medium volume. The timer works in such a way that the sound stops after 15, 30 or 45 minutes. The sounds are clearly very short clips in a loop. While other reviewers found it repetitive, I think it's the repetition that helps me fall asleep. I've been using it for a few nights now and it works great. Overall this is a great sound machine for the price. I love it!
