I bought this for my wife and she liked it so much I bought one too. I actually replaced a much more expensive Bontrager made quick release tail bag on my wife's bike and a Trek quick release myself. In both cases, the brackets on the back of the seat rails prevented the seat from sliding back on the rack far enough for the bike to sit properly. We both rode lightly on the noses of our saddles. They, on the other hand, can be fully mounted on the upright stays, giving you full saddle customization. The bag uses quick release buckles instead of velcro to attach under the seat and a velcro to attach to the seat post. I have enough room in my bag for 1 spare tube (it's a large 700c tube for cyclocross or commuter tires (I currently have 700x33c), a small set of patches, 3 tire levers and some zip ties. If you're using a tube for a 700x23c -25c tires then you could probably put a CO2 pump in them as well. Maybe? If you plan on using this on a mountain bike, good luck. I have inner tubes big enough for a 26x2.35 tire and that Material is just as good as more expensive bags and should also be able to withstand the same for the rear light makes opening difficult. That's why it has quick-release fasteners. The bag is very narrow compared to my other bags, which makes it very aerodynamic. This will actually be the tail bag that I use Recommend to anyone looking for a good bag in the future.A good bag despite the price.One final note I took this bag yesterday for a 55 mile ride on our beautiful road en in Wisconsin looking like the surface of the moon thanks to an old winter, and none of the straps have come loose.
