Not an American model. I love Android auto tuning.

1st thing, it's not an American model, it doesn't seem to limit listening to the radio, I just wanted to throw it away. I have had this device for a long time. Worth knowing: 1. The screen is good, which is to be expected from Pioneer.2. The sound quality is on par with products in the middle price segment. *This is a problem with all major brands, you have to pay more for good chips*3. The touchscreen is responsive, the button layout is good and works well with the PAC steering wheel interface. Now about shortcomings.1. The biggest problem I've encountered is often freezing and Android Auto can't work after restarting the car. You have to turn everything off, completely shut down and restart, it may take several attempts, but everything will work again. Sometimes the radio gets partially disabled *like GPS directions* and it stays partially disabled and you have to restart again to get everything working again. It doesn't have the option to dim the screen like all other Pioneer onscreen radios I've had. I know this is a minor complaint but it's worth noting as I have tinted windows and it's frustrating to see the screen light up in all windows while driving in the dark. Overall, this is a good budget device with a few downsides. A great way to add new auto OEM features to older cars with a little tinkering. I would buy one again for my next car.
