This scale is easy to use and the results can be sent directly to FitBit (or other health tracking apps) via Bluetooth. However, the main purpose of the scales (weighing) is poorly fulfilled. The weight listed is low (about a pound) and (more importantly) inaccurate, with a standard deviation of about 0.4 pounds between measurements. The extra water weight reduces the actual fat percentage (because the fat weight doesn't change, but the total weight changes), but the scale reports an increase. He can't differentiate between a full bladder, daily fluctuations in weight, or a 2-pound weight being held with one hand.
