Canon OEM adapters just aren't available at retail and I refuse to pay huge markups to some retailers who have something to sell. So I tried this much cheaper adapter and it works great on my R6 with old EF and EFS including my Tamron 150-600mm telephoto lens. The autofocus is fast and accurate. In the future, when Canon's mirrorless hysteria has died down a bit and Canon's OEM adapters are available at normal prices, I'll probably go for the one with the control ring, but will continue to use it as the standard Tamron adapter. worth trying compared to the huge premiums on adapters at the moment.
