I bought the "6" Pin ON/ON version. I give them 3 stars. As others have pointed out, they do not tolerate soldering temperatures well. Due to previous negative reviews I tested them all before using them. Apparently they were all fine. For my project I needed 3 switches. I have a lot of soldering experience and I tried to be very fast and accurate. Not fast enough. I found 2 out of 3 switches had a bad set of pins after soldering. The attached photo shows a contact that has been displaced after the iron softened the plastic. The manufacturer must use a thermoplastic with a higher melting point for the switch body. Luckily I had the extras as they give you 8. Next time I'll go to DigiKey and buy (probably) industrial grade switches; currently only $1.90 each. Too bad there isn't a main supply but I save myself the hour it took me to find intermittent bad contacts and swap out the switches. If you are purchasing these switches you will need a very hot iron to quickly melt the solder and complete each connection in about 3 seconds or less. Then allow the switch to cool before making the next dispensing.
