This lens works well, focuses quickly and is smooth, but cannot be used for video recording due to its volume. Even when the camera is in manual focus mode with OIS disabled, the lens makes a VERY audible buzz which is picked up by the camera's microphones. Since the NX300 doesn't support an external microphone (other than one that isn't available), we're forced to use internal stereo microphones. So if you use this for photography, buy with confidence. If you use this for video, get a manual lens.
