I was so excited to try polygel and thought it would be that easy but it wasn't that easy. You will receive a set of 8 colors. The tubes are small so I'm not sure how many uses you will get from them. I think you'll get about 2 full uses per tube, maybe 3. I've had a hard time with this polygel. I squeezed a small amount onto the nail shaper and smoothed it out evenly. I applied a thin layer of base coat to the nail and cured. Then I applied a shaper filled with polygel to the nail, but it didn't hold. The first kept rising off my nail. I tried putting more and less to see if that would help the first one stay in place, but it didn't work. I've cured it twice for 120 seconds and even then the center of my nail that the previous one detached from hasn't cured. I even have a few bubble bags. Also, during curing, the polygel dripped onto the right side of the former, forming a thick dried layer under the nail. I think it's because of the shape of the first one and also because the first one is supposed to be lighter. I came to this conclusion because I used a different brand of polygel where the first was feather light and less curved and allowed the gel to fully set while the first stayed in place until it had set. I didn't have any growths under the nail either, and I managed it on the first try. Otherwise, the polygel was very malleable after curing. I used clear coat and I love how natural it looks but feels like I have an acrylic nail. I might use it in combination with nail extensions in the future. Hopefully this will stop the accumulation. It also comes with a free glitter gift. Basically the set is fine. May be more suitable for advanced users.
