Review on DAKINE Evelyn 26L Backpack Zion by Debbie Jones

Slim profile, sticky zippers

Overall this is a very good backpack and I love the fabric design both inside and out. Has a beautiful silhouette; not too bulky looking. I used it for work to take a few things with me besides my laptop. The thin profile of the bag makes it a bit difficult for me to fit everything I need in it. It's winter now so I need to put on extra things like a sweater, gloves, a scarf. It was tight. If you're just using it for a laptop and a few small things, it's probably fine. However, the zippers were a bit rough/sticky; they just don't slide that easily. I was hoping that they would get better with time and use, but so far: no. My biggest complaint is the included lunch bag, which is one of the reasons I chose this one. It looks great, but to be honest it might come with a small flat sandwich and a flat refreezeable ice pack and that's about it. He is very thin. You might be able to squeeze out soda. Not as convenient for my needs as I had hoped. It does not fit in round or square salad or soup containers. I like the side pockets; roomy enough for bottled water and coffee or an umbrella. Padded shoulder straps are durable and comfortable.
