It works like a second screen for your laptop and I use it all the time. I'm happy with the use, but the image quality is a little worse than I expected. You have to resize the windows you drag on them and Excel spreadsheets are a little fuzzy. It's bright enough, but there's no way to adjust it. For the price, however, it's a good deal. Just don't expect the same crisp images as your laptop screen. Runs on your laptop battery but drains your battery. I always try to plug in my laptop when using the secondary display. I would buy again.
