At first the battery compartment was difficult to open. It requires two hands, and even then it's not as easy as it should be. Second, the SD card should snap into place easily. It's not like this. My husband had to use the handle to slide it far enough to latch it because the compartment (in the same place as the batteries) was so shallow he couldn't get his finger in to slide the SD deep enough . Third and most importantly, the photos were TERRIBLE! We tried different RES settings. We tried different zoom levels. Tried different lights. TERRIBLE pictures. And YES, we removed the protective film from the lens before the shoot. This product doesn't cost a dime let alone the $89 they charge. Less than an hour after delivery it was repackaged for return.
